NMMA Announces Second Advocacy Fly-In for Florida

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is holding its second advocacy fly-in in Tallahassee, Florida, November 12 to 13. The organization emphasized that direct industry engagement in the advocacy process is essential to the long-term health of recreational boating and is encouraging all Florida stakeholders to participate in the fly-in.

NMMA members, dealers and other marine-related businesses will work to build legislative support for three key initiatives: Everglades restoration, improving water quality, and modernizing boating infrastructure. Using the formula from the spring 2019 fly-in, the morning session will feature high-profile speakers and panel discussions followed by meetings in the afternoon with legislators – including House and Senate leadership – and key gubernatorial staff.
