Port 32 Buys Tampa Harbour Marina

Port 32 has purchased Tampa Harbour Marina in Tampa, Florida, for $21.5 million. The property was listed for sale in June by Colliers International Tampa and Atlanta-based Leisure Property Advisors team. Port 32 plans to completely renovate the 12.1-acre property, which houses 600 dry storage slips and 40 wet slips.

The sale also includes retail and office space and a restaurant leased by Hula Bay Club and Duke’s Retired Surfer’s Island bar. The 9,800 square feet of office space is leased by BTI Partners, the developer of Westshore Marina District; the University of Tampa’s Marine Science Center; and El Goya, the operator of Hula Bay and Duke’s. Other commercial tenants include Freedom Boat Club, and Family Boating and Marine Centers.

The marina is located on Old Tampa Bay near the Westshore Marina District—a mixed-use neighborhood under development that will have retail, restaurants and luxury condos, apartments and townhomes.

Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Port 32 is a national marina owner, developer and operator with marinas in Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach Gardens and Tierra Verde.
