NMMA American Boating Congress Goes Virtual

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) is holding the virtual American Boating Congress (ABC), May 13 to 14. The event will provide information on how NMMA is pursuing outreach and advocacy efforts, particularly as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to strain businesses across the country and threaten the broader economy.

From the economic impact of COVID-19 to state access issues, this event will cover the most pressing concerns and opportunities with leaders from across the country.

The event will be held both days from 1 to 2:30 EDT.

ABC will kick off with a welcome from National Marine Manufacturers Association President Frank Hugelmeyer and then will include the following sessions on day one: Bipartisanship in the Era of Uncertainty, Four Pillars of NMMA’s COVID-19 Advocacy Efforts, State of the States: Working Together to Re-Open America, and Audience Q&A. Day two will feature: COVID-19 Update from the Trump Administration, Economic Forecast: The Lingering Impacts of COVID-19 to the Global Economy, 2020 Political Landscape, Audience Q&A and closing remarks.

Speakers will include members of Congress, key elected and state officials, staff from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and Trevor Hanger, strategic adviser at Forbes-Tate Partners.
